Privacy Policy

What happens to the data that reaches us through this website, and what you can ask of us.

This privacy policy explains how entrelux (entrelux.org) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and limit data collection to what is needed to run the site and answer your requests.

Data controller

This website is run by entrelux, 14 Kings Lane Business Court, Swansea SA1 3QD, United Kingdom, which decides how the data described on this page is used. Questions about it can be sent to [email protected] or asked by telephone on 01792 410 386; they concern every page under entrelux.org and the messages that reach us through it.

The content and services of this website are meant for adults. We do not set out to receive information about children, and if a message from a child reaches us by mistake, a short note to [email protected] is enough for us to delete it.

Data security

Technical and practical safeguards protect the data we hold against loss, alteration and access by people who are not entitled to it. Where your browser supports it, the connection to this website is encrypted.

Even with careful protection, sending data over open networks is never free of risk, and we do not promise complete security. Within our company, only the people handling your request can see your messages.

Retention

Data is stored for the period the purpose requires. Once the purpose no longer applies and no legal duty stands in the way, we delete the data or keep it in a form that no longer identifies anyone.

Technical log entries disappear automatically after a short time. Correspondence is kept while it may still be needed, and records that tax or commercial rules require us to keep are held for the period those rules set.

Which data we process

Opening this website leaves a few technical traces with our hosting provider: the address of your device, the moment of the visit, the page opened and basic details about the browser. We use them only to run the site safely and to find the cause of technical errors.

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we store your name, your email address, any telephone number you choose to give and the content of your message, in order to deal with your request.

Service providers and transfers abroad

Personal data is not sold. Only the providers that host this website and run our email see it, and they act on our instructions under a written agreement; public bodies receive it only where we are obliged to disclose it.

If a provider operates servers or support staff abroad, data may leave the country in which we are established. We work only with providers who commit to the level of protection that the applicable law requires for such transfers.

Cookies

This website keeps stored entries to a minimum. It does not use advertising cookies, it does not follow visitors across other sites, and an answer you give to a cookie notice stays in your own browser.

Stored entries can be reviewed and deleted at any time in the settings of your browser, where you can also block them for the future. Blocking everything may affect the parts of the site that depend on such entries.

Purpose and legal basis

We use data to keep this website online and safe, to reply to the messages we receive, to prepare and carry out agreements with clients and to keep the records our business requires.

Each use of data has a ground of its own: your consent, a contract or the talks that lead to it, an obligation we have to meet, or our legitimate interest in running this site securely. You are free not to give us details, but without them an answer may not be possible.

Your rights and how to use them

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, a message to [email protected] is enough. To be sure that we are dealing with the right person, we may ask you to confirm your identity; our answer follows within the statutory period and is free of charge.

Besides contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
