Accessibility

What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated

entrelux wants entrelux.org to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.

Our approach

We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate task. Whenever a page is added or the design changes, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, used with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under entrelux.org.

What we do

Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings follow a single order, lists are marked as lists and links say where they lead. Navigation and content form separate regions, the language of each page is declared, and informative images have alternative texts while decorative ones are marked as such.

Colours are selected so that body text, links and buttons maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Font sizes are expressed in relative units, so that text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off. Links, menus and form fields can be operated using the keyboard alone.

Standards

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.

Known limitations

A number of illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject instead of describing it in detail.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter a barrier on this website, or cannot obtain information that you require, please inform us by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01792 410 386. It helps if you identify the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five working days.

Other ways to reach us

The website is not the only way to get information from entrelux. You can call us on 01792 410 386 during business hours, write to [email protected] or send a letter to 14 Kings Lane Business Court, Swansea SA1 3QD; if a page does not work for you, we can read its content to you by telephone or send it as plain text.

Preparation and review

The present statement was prepared on 25 October 2026 on the basis of our own internal assessment. We inspected the principal page types with a keyboard, at an increased zoom setting and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any substantial change to the website.
